OUR CAUSE

There is a major disparity between the number of technical, vocational, and trade schools (TVT schools) and the number of universities and colleges prevalent in the City of Anaheim (14-5). While technical schools are inclined to provide education for immediate, single job placement, universities provide a generalized major, which can be used to pursue various jobs in that field. With a majority of TVT schools, Anaheim seems only credible to provide a job-based education, thus making their universities “unpopular”. The concerning issue, which we want to bring awareness of, is that Anaheim seemingly lacks the credibility to provide a university-based education to its students, which leads Anaheim students to enroll into universities and colleges outside Anaheim which seem more reputable.

Our goal (restated) is to bring awareness regarding that Anaheim’s universities and colleges need to be popularized in order to increase enrollment, thus enhancing the City of Anaheim economically, socially, and politically.
